Hi, my name is Justine, I'm glad you dropped by my website and hope you will find some useful information here. I recognise that choosing a therapist is a difficult task and that sometimes it takes a while to find someone who works well with you. Please don't hesitate to give me a call, have a talk about what you are looking for and see how my responses sit with you.

I am a Psychotherapist and Counsellor specialising in Art Therapy and my private practice is based in Brisbane, Queensland. Over the past 23 years, I have extensive experience working with adults, children & young people on issues relating to: adverse childhood experiences, complex trauma, mental health, relationships, eating and body image issues and existential crisis. For professionals working in mental health, I offer Clinical Supervision and am registered as a supervisor with PACFA and ANZACATA. My art therapy training was undertaken in the Masters of Mental Health program (University of QLD School of Medicine). I am a clinical member of the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA) and a registered art therapist with the Australian, New Zealand and Asian Creative Arts Therapies Association (ANZACATA). There is more information regarding my background here.

On the menu above you will find tabs that will link you to what you are looking for. This website is also home to information about Press Pause Therapies established by myself and Nicole Kinnaird and located in Bardon. We also have colleagues working from this space and you can find their details on the same page.

My books are currently closed and I am not adding to my waitlist at this time.
I am very aware of how difficult it is to find mental health supports at the moment. I am happy to offer a list of referral options and you are welcome to contact me regarding this by getting in touch via my contact page.
